I came to Alaska from Salt Lake City Utah in 1979 to enjoy the finest Wilderness on the planet. Archaeological fieldwork took me to nearly every region of Alaska. My wife Ann and I built a log house in Seward where we live with a lovely vivacious dog and two somnambulant cats. At the urging of my longtime pal, archaeologist Debbie Corbett, I converted my obsession with doodling into a more sophisticated effort. I've provided illustrations for academicians, government agencies and cultural resource management firms plus a few stray bits for fun.
In addition to illustration, I started two conservation nonprofits, a pet advocacy group (SOS Pets) and I volunteer with the Seward Senior Center, Seward Nordic Ski Club, Resurrection Bay Conservation Alliance, Resurrection Bay Historical Society and the Seward Area State Parks Citizens Advisory Board.
